Mission Network and Regnum Christi
Author: Mission Youth
As an apostolate of the Regnum Christi movement, Mission Youth receives overall guidance and direction from the Legionaries of Christ, a religious congregation founded in 1941. Regnum Christi is an ecclesial movement indivisibly united to the congregation, and shares with it the goal of serving mankind and the Church. Founded in 1941, the Regnum Christi Movement includes lay men and women, as well as deacons and priests. Its members contribute to spreading Christ's message to humanity by undertaking personal, organized apostolic activity — such as Mission Youth.
Inspired by the Legion of Christ and the Regnum Christi movement, Mission Network serves as the umbrella organization managing their multiple apostolates. Mission Network exists to provide tools for the New Evangelization that mobilize people to serve bishops, parish priests and their pastoral teams, by offering quality resources and programs to the Church for youth, young adults and families.
