Holy Week 2010
Author: Mission Youth

Have you thought what you will be doing during Holy Week this year?
How about going into the streets and sharing your faith... Don't miss out on this great opportunity to take Christ to those who don't know Him or are far from Him.

In Holy Week 2010, apart from going into the streets to share their faith missionaries will also be giving of themselves in humanitarian projects. It could be cleaning a house for a poor family, painting or building a roof for a trailer, building a grotto… The projects are selected based on the needs of the families and communities. But whatever the work, the essence is the same – it is a response to God’s commandment of love and His call to be a missionary of His Gospel.

Involving working as a team, these projects build and foster friendship, both with fellow missionaries, and with the locals. A missionary is never off duty, and is docile to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit!
You are all invited to “put out into the deep” with Christ in this year’s Holy Week missionary adventure, remembering His words:

“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me” (Mt 25:40)
